Meet Our Founder

Damian D. Nunzio, Esq graduated from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 1989. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (82').

After graduating from Law School, Damian went on you pass the bar in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan, which allows Damian D. Nunzio to practice law as an attorney in all four states. Damian D. Nunzio started his Criminal Trial & Practice career in 1992 when he was hired on at the Kent County Office of the Defender. For five years, Damian D. Nunzio handled all kinds of criminal cases such as Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC), Murder, Assaults, and Drunk Driving cases. He enjoyed many trial victories and plea reductions. After working hard at the Kent County Office of the Defender, Damian D. Nunzio decided to go into private practice where he handles Criminal Cases, Divorce, Child Custody & Parenting Time, Civil litigation, and Immigration. Damian D. Nunzio, in private practice, handles all kinds of Criminal Cases, from Murder, Manslaughter, Perjury, Assaults, Criminal Sexual Conduct, Drunk Driving, Embezzlement, Armed Robbery, Larceny, and many more in both State and Federal Court. There is no case, too big or too small for Damian D. Nunzio. 

Additionally, Damian D. Nunzio has been named one of the Best Attorney’s of American, Best Law Firms of America, and Best Ten Attorney by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.

Damian has spent countless hours over the years mentoring younger lawyers and law students by speaking at Kent County Office of the Defender, WMU - Thomas M. Cooley Law school, and Michigan State University Pre-law students.

Fun Facts about Damian: He is a Maryland native but his heart now lies in Grand Rapids, Michigan after meeting his wife while in Law School. Damian also spent a few years teaching 7th and 8th grade Math and Science.

Meet Our Associate

Kristyna Nunzio, Esq graduated Summa Cum Laude (Ranked Number 1 out of 110) from WMU - Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May of 2019. She then passed the Michigan July 2019 Bar exam. While in Law School, Kristyna competed in three National Mock Trial Competitions as well as earning countless top-grades. She received the highest grades in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law I, Constitutional Law II, Personal & Professional Responsibility, Medical Forensics, Advocacy, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Due to her leadership roles as the Mock Trial President, Student Bar Association (Events Coordinator and Co-Founder of the Skills Series), and Federal Bar Association, Kristyna received the Leadership Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award. While in Law School, Kristyna was a Research Editor for Law Review and served as a teaching assistant for Criminal Law, Civil Procedure I, and Civil Procedure II.

Kristyna graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Specialization in Cognitive Science (15'). During Kristyna's time at Michigan State University, she was a Co-Founder and the Vice President of Kappa Alpha Pi - Michigan State University's only Professional Co-ed Pre-Law Fraternity. Kristyna is also a member of Psi Chi, the International Honors Society for Psychology.

Meet Our Legal Assistant

Tiffany Nunzio, webmaster and digital designer, is currently working on her Master’s of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Tiffany graduated in 2018 from Aquinas College and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Her primary focus is Painting with a secondary of Drawing, although she loves creating art with all mediums. Tiffany held the student representative position for Aquinas' Art Club and regularly submits her artwork in gallery shows. When Tiffany isn't working on the Website or designing images, she's painting beautiful abstract pieces, constructing bronze statues, or gleaning information from the ten-ton history books.
